LENS@Wake Forest is seeking students who are interested in gaining the academic foundation for today's global society and who want to be challenged, have fun and do something different along the way.  If this sounds like you, then check out LENS@Wake Forest.

LENS@Wake Forest is a three-week summer program that will equip you with the necessary academic foundation for becoming a global citizen.  The 2014 theme is Global Sustainability.  You will delve into scientific concepts about sustainability issues in the Experiential Classroom.  You will explore local businesses and industries incorporating principles of sustainability by participating in Living Labs.  You will be introduced to college-level writing and develop new communication skills during the Writing Seminar.  You will work in small groups to partner with a community agency and research a sustainability-related need using your new knowledge through the Service Learning Projects.  In addition to learning, you will experience a variety of fun activities that will introduce you to college social life.

Take the first step in gaining these important academic and problem-solving skills and a taste of collegiate life and apply now for LENS@Wake Forest!

Rising high schools juniors and seniors are eligible to apply.
